I guess I'll try to harvest wild cultures for my ferment, because this starter that I paid money for ... Doesn't exist.

Great for Tricky Ferments

I don’t use it for everything but find it helpful for high sugar foods like beets that would rather make alcohol than lactic acid. Also for alliums that have natural antibacterial properties. It nudges them down the right path.
